Title : The substance of faith

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1"
Devotion : A substance is something that can be seen and touched; faith should be viewed in that manner simply because God sees our faith. The evidence of our faith is the Word of God.
 What do you desire, need, or want as a child of God? Look for the evidence of your need or desire in the Word of God.
 In other words, have scriptures for every need or desire; pray with this evidence without any shadow of doubt, Mark 11:24, and you will receive the solution to your need. 
 Dear reader, do you have evidence for the things you are praying for? If you do then begin to rejoice for the solution and you will receive it physically.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
