Devotion: Who you follow determines what will follow you. We are living in a world where a lot of things are happening, both good and evil. Good or evil things do not happen by chance. Good things will happen in your life when you make the LORD your shepherd (Acts 10:38). Making Jesus Christ your shepherd guarantees goodness and mercy in your life.
Dearly beloved, Jesus Christ will make sure that you have value for the sacrifices you have been making for Him. On the other hand, those who reject Him have automatically opened the door for anything evil to come into their life because the devil has nothing good to offer (John 8:44). Dear beloved, continue to submit to the Lord Jesus and enjoy His fellowship, goodness, mercy, protection, long life, and the like (1 John 5:12). Hallelujah. Be An Overcomer!
  Prayer Point: My Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for being the good shepherd. Yes, without You there is no life. I dedicate myself to following You so that Your goodness, mercy, protection, long life, joy, etc. can follow me and abound in my life. Amen!

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
