It does not mean we are not children of God but somethings are just beyond human reasoning. In such situations all we need to do is hand everything to Jesus and stop using human reasoning. This was the situation the man in the story found himself. The boy’s father believed Jesus could drive out this spirit. But he didn't know it for sure. He brought him to Jesus, but he still doubted—after all, no one else had been able to heal his son.   Have you ever felt torn between that same belief and doubt?  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. ‭Colossians 3:2 KJV‬ Devotion: Most people work and set targets for themselves at the beginning of the year. While some continue to pursue and achieve the target most get distracted and lose focus by April. What causes this among those who fail to meet target? Lost of focus internally or extraneous factors like diseases, accidents, the work close down or simply because they get better deal somewhere.   To those who set their eyes on things above the outcome is different because they never lose focus. The Bible says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
