Title : Charity from the heart

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13"
Devotion : Faith, hope, and charity are important virtues of Christianity. By faith we believe that God exists, hope gives us expectation and drive to move on, and charity or love is a physical demonstration of an inner work. 
   Charity or love is the greatest, because through charity or love faith and hope makes sense to us. A very good example is the coming of Jesus Christ to the world to redeem man from sin; this is an outward manifestation of the love of God which makes sense of our faith and hope in God.

The greatest is LOVE and that's God himself. The bible tells us that God is LOVE and while we were still in sin He loves us and send His begotten son Jesus to redeem us from sin. Thus He gives us reason to be FAITHFUL TO HIM and HOPE that we are secure in God.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
