Title : Trying Times

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4"
Devotion : The Psalmist admitted that there are trying times as a child of God. He said in the midst of the trying times we should know that God is with us, therefore, fear has been defeated. The rod and staff of God is available to comfort us and punish our enemies.
That we are children of God do not mean there will not be afflictions but we are sure He will deliver us from all of them. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." Psalms 34:19.
Therefore whatever you may be going through right now be it financial problems, marital issues, sickness, loss of job or a loved one even children misbehaviour take it all to God and he will assist you out of the problems. For God says in Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Then you will sing a new song like Moses did in Exodus 15:11 "Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" Hallelujah.
Dear reader, be conscious that God is with you and He is ever ready to comfort you and fight for you. God bless you.
