Title : Jesus is willing

"And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:3"
Devotion : The leper met Jesus Christ when He had come down from the mountain and made a humble request from the Lord. The response from the Lord Jesus Christ signifies the willingness of the Lord to answer our request if it is made from a humble sincere heart.
  See how humble the Leper was as demonstrated in his request (prayer) to Jesus - "And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean".
Matthew 8:2. He worshiped Jesus also; we also as children of God must come before God in humility and worship him before laying out prayer requests before him.
   He touched the leper and said, "I will" and healed him. He also demonstrated that we should not be afraid to touch the sick to pray for them.
 Dear reader, kindly know that the Lord is always willing to attend to your request if made from a humble sincere heart.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
