Knowledge or religious based economies.

For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.Ecclesiastes 7:12

Discussion : There are basically two economies in the world and every nation on the face of the earth fall under either of them.

These are:

* The Knowledge Economy

* The Religion Economy

The rich and prosperous nations of the world belong to the Knowledge Economy while the the poorest and poverty stricken nations of the world belong to the Religion Economy.

The Knowledge Economy is one that engages the brain, asks relevant questions, and proffer solutions to problems. The Religion Economy is one that blackmails God and dumps every responsibilities on Him.

The Knowledge Economy tasks the brain, the Religion Economy numbs the brain.

Most Knowledge based Economy counties have no natural resources but yet they are  prosperous nations. Such countries uphold the rule of law and corruption is minimal.

Many Religion Economy countries depend on God to solve simple day to day issues like traffic control, that can be solved scientifically.

Many of these religious countries are very poor and are among the most corrupt nations on the face of the earth. In these nations everything depend on God, and God watches in disgust as people suspend their brains.Even security agencies that are constitutionally funded from budgets look up to God to carry out their duties.

 But here is the irony, the two major religions of the world, Christianity and Islam, emanated from Middle East but non of the nations fall under Religion Economy, their socio-economic development is science based. They spend lots of money on the citizens to acquire knowledge. 

But hypocritically stupid nations are comfortable disseminating nuisance to humanity with their glamorization of the Religion Economy. Government officials empowered to do a job will turn around and ask the people to pray instead of tasking their brain to find solutions to simple problems like finding solutions to perennial flooding.

 There's a reason He gave man brain and instructed him to subdue the earth. In Exodus 31:3 God said "And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship" meaning God endowed man with wisdom to do things,  solve his day to day problems. 

 If you're a Christian who does not commit yourself to the pursuit of knowledge your life will become a perfect reflection of religious economy country.
