Title: Have Faith in Waiting!

“I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.” Psalms 130:5–6 (KJV)
Devotion: To wait is to remain in a state in which you expect or hope that something will happen soon. There are certain times in the life of a Christian when all you need is to wait on the Lord (Psalms 40:1). The LORD has plans for every child of His, and these plans are tied to time. For example, the Lord cannot give you a spouse when you are just five years of age. You have to grow to a rightful age—when you are mature enough to handle matters of marriage.
Dear beloved, when you pray to God from the Holy Scriptures, have patience with the Lord. Be expectant and keep thanking Him while you wait (Hebrews 4:2). Never complain because there is a delay, and before long the answer will materialize.       Develop the virtue of patience in you in waiting on the LORD, and you will never miss your visitation. Praise the Lord! Be an overcomer!
