Title : Search me

Search me, O God, and know my heart!  Try me and know my thoughts!  And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! 
Psalm 139:23‭-‬24 ESV
Devotion: The psalmist is so sure of himself that he asked God to search him. How many of us can stand before God and boldly ask God to search us. The Bible  says if God counts sins who can stand before him. 
As children of God we must come to the level whereby we will be able to say "Search me Oh Lord." If not it means we need to reexamine our lives and come back to full obedience.

Title: When your time shall be over, you'll fly away.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
