Pure Religion Defined

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 1:27 KJV
Devotion: In the passage above God through Apostle James clearly spelt out the definition of Pure Religion for us. There's no other way to it, it is either we follow the definition and get the reward or not and receive nothing .
It is noteworthy that being born again is different from religion but being born again is sine qua non. It is mandatory to make heaven while religion as defined above is very important and profitable for a truly born again child of God.
It is by our practice of religion that we demonstrate our faith in Christ to the unbeliever. Through practice of Pure Religion we evangelise to our neighbours just as the apostles were named Christian in Antioch because of their conduct.
 Are you ready to be called Christian? Then, practice Pure Religion - help the helpless, bless the poor, visit the motherless babies home, give to the widows and live in total obedience. Do not neglect evangelism and prayers too. May God assist you as you do it. Hallelujah!
