Topic: His ways!

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD . For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8‭-‬9 KJV

Devotion: There's a Yoruba proverb that says "a child cannot have as many new garments as many rags (old, worn out garments) possessed by his father" in other words he is inferior to his father. Our God is so supreme, far above that nothing on earth can be compared to him.

 God knows the end from the beginning, He told prophet Jeremiah that "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations" Jeremiah 1:5. While human being cannot ordinarily predict what will happen in few hours time unless God reveals it to us. This is the reason God's way or plan is superior to human way or plan.

As children of God we are to prepare ourselves ready spiritually through study of His word, faithfulness, obedience and prayer. We must not neglect the physical in terms of training, education, seeking for job and God will guide us to the right destination. Let us remember that spiritual and physical work together because when a person is destined to be a doctor and he's not qualified he cannot be. My appeal to believers from Africa is "Do not suspend your brain, use it" so that you can achieve the higher plan that God has for you. Amen.
