Title: Fear God.

All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God's providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man. Ecclesiastes 12:13 AMPC
Devotion: King Solomon was a wise man and he reached the correct conclusion in the verse above. There's hardly anything to add. 
  We love our parents and fear them because they love us, we don't want to make them unhappy by our conduct. The same way we should fear God. If one is truly a child of God then one should Revere God considering that he's our maker who loves us; we do not want to grieve him.
  Dear reader, consider it your duty to God to fear him by living a life of total obedience and worship God. This is all he demands from you and me.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
