Title: His promise is Sure, Do your part.

Devotion: Good morning dear reader, before you go out of the house today I want you to consider this verse - "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore". It is a promise, a covenant between God and you.
 Please know that He (God) who made the promise keeps his word and He never fails. But there's a caveat, read Deuteronomy 28: 1,6 it says  "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, ......Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out".
  In essence you must obey the Lord your God then God will fulfill His part of the promise. Do examine and re-examine yourself and backtrack to God if perchance you have wondered away. It shall be well with you. Safe trips always in Jesus name, hallelujah! Amen.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
