Title: Salvation, No Need for Sacrifices!

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.10.10.KJV Devotion: Salvation is a simple matter, you do not have to spend money to buy it, no need to sacrifice animals or any object and in fact don't need any rigorous effort to get saved.   All you need to do is: believe in your heart that Jesus is a son of God who came to earth to sacrifice himself for your sin, you will be made right with God. Then confess with your mouth all Jesus means to you and has done for you - you are this saved.  To continue to enjoy Christ stay living right according to the word of God and the Holy Spirit will guide you.  Now that you have been saved you need to let others hear about this wonderful experience of yours by telling your neighbours, colleagues and anybody your experience since you believe. Tell them the change Jesus brought to your life, finances, health, family and busin...

Title: The Everlasting God.

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. Isaiah 40:28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.40.28.KJV Devotion: Every humans are prone to be tired or weary at some point in life. It could be due to fatigue of work, exhaustion from intellectual job or other circumstances. We just say I'm fed up and some will give up totally, sometimes we just take a nap and at other times we go on vacation. When we return we are fired up to continue.    But God is eternal, he never gives up, nevery weary or fatigued; as He was before the earth was created by Him so He is now and will be in ages to come. He never takes vacation He's always there no matter the situation God changes not.   He is like the burning bush which though was burning but the grass did not burn out because the source of fire is God (Exodus 3 vs 2). You can get to that l...

Title: The King of Glory!

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Psalm 24:10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.24.10.KJV Devotion: In the world today there are several units ruled by men who call themselves kings, chiefs, presidents, prime minsters etc. But none of them have authority over all the earth and none can give life, bring about changed in weather condition, establish great mountains, none of the so called kings can safe mankind from catastrophy except God of heaven.   There's non comparable with God our God who created the awesome oceans, the sky and filled it with billions upon billions of stars and they never collide. Each star remain in its place. Now the one who did and sustains this is the King of glory.  You want him in your home? Then open the doors of your heart to Him, he will come and fill the vacuum in your heart and you'll forever become the son of God. He will abide with you and sustain you in Him. You will not remain the same again. T...

Title: Let No Cursing Come from Your Mouth.

As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. Psalms 109:17 KJV Devotion: Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue; we will eat the fruit of our words one day. As the opening scripture shows, it is dangerous to speak curses and hate what is a blessing, for that will come back to us one day. Self-criticizing words, words of fear and doubt, and all other negativity can actually hinder God’s blessings in our lives. Beloved, may you rise up more powerful and prosperous than before! As you have now come to know the value and importance of words, even idle words, may you only speak of blessings and the goodness of God and words that bring life! May you witness the power of God moving in areas that need revival and breakthrough in your marriage, families, cities, etc. as you constantly declare His Word! Be powerful! Hallelujah! Prayer point: My God, the Blesser and Giver of all good things, I praise You ...

Title: The Sin of the Tongue!

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. Psalms 39:1 KJV The enemy uses people to cause your tongue to sin. When you don’t watch your emotions, the thoughts run around in your head, and you don’t rein in your tongue when you are faced with a challenging person. It’s easy to lash out in anger and say things that shouldn’t be said or words that can’t be undone. That is why we are told to be quick to hear and slow to speak (James 1:19). Beloved, it is wise to imitate what King David did when he was with a wicked person. He watched over his ways and made sure his tongue was kept sealed so that he wouldn't sin. You know which people are the ones the enemy is using against you to tempt you and trigger you. Keep watch on your ways when they approach you, put on the whole armor of God, and bridle your tongue. You are an overcomer! Prayer point: Abba Father, thank You for Your guiding words and wis...

Title: The Holy Spirit!

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.14.26.KJV Devotion: When we give our lives to Christ and obey God's commandments the Holy Spirit is near to us. When we now pray and ask God for it with pious mind them we have Holy Spirit in us. It can manifest by speaking in tongues but it may not.   You need to request for the Spirit daily because it is like petrol in your car, it goes away unannounced and if care is not taken you may not know and when you need it urgently it may not be there. What drives it away are profanity, prayerlessness and sin.   The Holy Spirit is the quiet and gentle inner voice that tells us to do what Christ would do in a given situation. The Holy Spirit will lead us to pray for someone who despitefully use us, it tells us to avoid profanity. It tells us to ...

Title: The Day of the Lord!

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; Joel 2:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jol.2.1.KJV Devotion: The Day of the Lord is a special day that bring condemnation to evil and peace and joy to the righteous. When Israel was delivered from bondage in Egypt and Pharaoh perished in the sea it was the day of the Lord.   Israel was taken into captivity in Babylon when the King released them and they came home. Ezra read the book of history to the Israelites and they confessed and mourned for their sin it was another day of the Lord. Sin was defeated. They soon lapsed into sin and continued in it. When Jesus Christ the messiah was born it was the day of the Lord, he suffered death of the cross so that all who believe in him will not be guilty but will be saved. He defeated death and evil was put to shame. His resurrection and ascension to heaven is another ...

Title: The Gospel of Christ.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.  Matthew 4:23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.4.23.KJV Devotion: The Gospel of Christ is the good news. It is announcement of good tidings of God's kingdom to the people of God all over the world. The good news is love, peace, kindness, selflessness, joy and happiness. It teaches us to prepare to meet with Christ in heaven.   The difference between the kingdom of God and and earthly Kingdom is in the kingdom of God there's joy and happiness, no oppression, no hunger, no wars, no death, no evil but praise and worship of the Holy God. On earth is aggression, war, murder, stealing, envy, slander and all forms of evil.  The good news is to prepare for the kingdom of God and enjoy eternity with Jesus. The preparation consists of giving our lives to Christ and living righteous peaceful life...

Title: The Promised Word Made Flesh

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 KJV Devotion: When someone keeps their word or their promise to you, isn’t it likely that you feel able to rely on and trust this person? When we keep our word, it shows we are reliable and trustworthy. That is why making hasty promises isn’t encouraged by God’s Word (Ecclesiastes 5:4-7). Jesus said that no man can ever turn their hair white or black (Matthew 5:33-37). Beloved, when God made a promise that a Savior would be born, He fulfilled it through the life of Jesus Christ! His Promised Word became flesh, and His people witnessed it! And we all experience Him in the Spirit! This is the promise we all should keep on trusting and believing in because He Who has spoken it is faithful to fulfill it without fail! What promises of God are you believing in? They’re coming to pass! Hallelujah! Prayer point: Ever loving and faithful...

Title: Hope!

And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in thee. Psalm 39:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.39.7.KJV Devotion: The four letter word - HOPE is well discussed on the Bible and it is a bit different from hope of the everyday discussion. Hope as in the Bible is again different from optimism in that hope here is deeper and not based on animated material things; the biblical hope is in God.   While optimism is for example - I don't have job but hopefully will secure job one day. But when my hope is in God I expect a future when Jesus will come and right the wrong that made me jobless in the first instance, a corrupt free world, a place where there will be no sickness, no evil, no wars etc. So my hope in Jesus is deeper and difficult to understand for those who have not given their lives to Christ. One needs Holy Spirit to interpret the words and to guide us to have hope in God.   The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is our HOPE OF GLORY which is the most importa...

Title: Be a Friend!

A friend loveth at all times, And a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/pro.17.17.KJV Devotion: We are all made to live in communities except you don't want to. When we were young we used to go to the village where our dad had a Cocoa plantation. Any year that they had shortage of labourers the men of the village would choose a date and go to specific plantation to work and clear of the undergrowth. The used to do it like thrice a week and everybody's farm would be clean. That's community effort, everyone was a friend and a brother. These days of individualism none does such again.   In other life issues we have a friend - who loves us all the time and who assists in time of adversity. This friend is Jesus, He is always there for you and me. He is also a brother so whenever you're in the valley of life and all help seem to disappear just call on Jesus. Do not rely on your power, your God and friend Jesus will rise up for you. He as...

Title: Demonstrate Faith.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.7.7.KJV Devotion: In the sermon on the mountains Jesus taught the disciples how to pray, to ask and many other life changing topics.  Here Jesus teaches you and me how to demonstrate faith in God.    Though God knows our needs and can decide to meet it without asking, yet Jesus says we should ask. Why? Asking is a demonstration of faith in a living God. It shows trust in God's ability to provide, it also demonstrate to unbelievers that we can ask for specific things and get it.   If you prayerfully seek for clearity on anything that's unclear to you you'll also find answers because the great teacher - Jesus will teach you and show you the way. In the journey of life as a young person you need God to show you direction as promised in psalm 32 vs 8; therefore if you knock the door in prayers good will open it for you and di...

Title: He is There with you!

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee. Isaiah 54:10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.54.10.KJV Devotion: In today's world there are wars in Europe, middle east and parts of Africa. From the video clips on television, one can easily deduce that war is horrible with total destruction of homes, hospitals, hotels and several places where human beings are concentrated.   We also see video of flooding and tsunami sweeping entire communities but one thing is important in this- God is not oblivious to these happenings and His kindness is shown to the people. You may be going through situations and it seems that is all but I like you too know that God is in it with you. He will definitely keep his convenant of peace and you will come out tops. Remember God says in Isaiah 41 vs 10 do not be afraid I will not leave you nor forsake you....

Title: Seek the Lord continually.

Seek the LORD and his strength, Seek his face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1ch.16.11.KJV Devotion: From evolution we learnt that man evolved when he started using his hands to provide for and defend himself. This means man trusts in his power, does not see the need to depend on God for anything. The writer of Chronicles understood that it was a wrong believe to think we can do anything without God. He believed our lives depend on God the giver of life, the sustainer of life.  We are therefore urged to seek the Lord regularly and when we do that God becomes object of our worship, we begin to meditate on His word regularly and commune with him. When we do this we rely on God's strength to sustain us further bringing us closer to God.   As we continue, His praise and worship become our habit; we are no longer ashamed to seek his face any time we have a need while God rejoices that we belong to Him. In other words we become children of God and...

Title: Abound to Every Good Work.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2co.9.8.KJV Devotion: In Luke 6:38 it was well explained by Jesus that when we give it will return to us in good measure, shaken and pressed down. We also know that every good thing we have is a gift from God (James 1 vs17) and we don't really own anything but we have everything in trust for God because He actually gives us so that we can be a source of blessing to others.   These others will use what they need and should pass the rest to some other people. So when we pray to God for blessings we must have it mind what God really wants us to do with what we receive from Him. In the passage of today Paul further explained to us that God gives us sufficient enough to abound unto every good work, the emphasis is good work. Examples of good work are - to give to less privileged, orphans, disabled w...

The Narrow path - Jesus!

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13‭-‬14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.7.13-14.KJV Devotion: The many religions in the world claim they are the road to heaven and just preach that when you die you will go to heaven without knowing the way. They thus leave their followers to seek the way by themselves. Many have fallen victim and only discover their folly when it was to late, when they are dead.   Such persons follow the super highway, the 10 lane highway and joyfully drive to hell. Some even join the super fast train and live their lives to the full with drinks, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, covetousness, gossiping etc and forgot about heaven. Even as they were warned many do not bother to seek the narrow path.  In Gospel according to sa...

Title: It will not return empty!

so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.55.11.KJV Devotion: In the Bible we read several promises of God and all of them was accomplished at the set time. From  Genesis, God said let there be light, there was light, God declared times and seasons after the flood and we have it. He said Sarah shall be with a child it was fulfilled according to God's word. There are many more in the Bible.  The word of God to me through the prophet when I was a child was you will attend University with scholarship and I did, that I'll go to the land of white men and white men will work for me came through. There are many more that has been accomplished and many more in the pipeline to manifest soon.   I don't know what word God sent to you, just reflect over it, list them and tick the ones already ful...

Title : Ministering Angels

"They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psalm 91:12" Devotion : Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve the heirs of salvation, Hebrews 1:14. Our Lord Jesus Christ enjoyed the ministration of angels whilst on earth, especially during and after His forty-day fasting in the wilderness. Elijah was ministered to in the wilderness. He was fed by Ravens.(1 king 17:2-16)  Even though we do not always see angels with our optical eyes they minister to us when we go to bed, in our dreams, during the day, etc. There are stories by people who received divine healing when angels touch them in their dreams. Let us be conscious of this fact and pray, commanding them to do their work, and they shall obey. You too can enjoy the services of angels of you believe and obey God.  Dear reader, do you believe that angels minister to you? Title Glory Revealed!

Image
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1 KJV Before telescope was invented we all saw the black sky at night filled with twinkling stars and sometimes the moon. It was awesome and still is. (Read the story from the picture below)

Title: Discipline is Peace and Righteousness!

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Hebrews 12:11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/heb.12.11.KJV Devotion: Discipline is a word many will rather love to hate because nobody wants to be corrected and it is not easy to correct oneself. Many children hate waking up early and going to school, but those who endured always come out tops and are rewarded on price giving day at the end of academic year.   I remember when I gave up smoking it was so difficult I used to smoke in my dreams. I heard to work hard on it and now I enjoy peace with myself, I don't cough or have breathing difficulty. Praise God.    Two days ago I heard on reason about a man unable to discipline his manhood was sentenced to life imprisonment for sexually harazing his 13 year old daughter.    Dearly beloved, it is better to allow God discipline us ...

Title: Be a Shinning Light to the World!

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Isaiah 60:3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.60.3.KJV Devotion: Many African and Asian youths migrate to Europe and north America for economic gains and to explore the culture. They immigrate to these places because of the allure of life without restriction. Many of them abandon their culture when they get there.   You and me can attract Nations, kings and heads of governments to our countries if we live our lives for Christ and become a shinning example of what God can do. There was a prophet of God in Nigeria who attracted a lot of foreigners to his church. He used the opportunity to minister Christ to them and God used him to heal many people of their diseases. He carried evangelism to many countries of the world through missionary activities. He built schools, hospitals and churches in the remotest parts of South America, Asia and Africa. These people came to the light of God in Nigeria t...

Title: Do Not Waste Your Life!

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. Mark 8:35 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.8.35.KJV Devotion: We used to sing "I have decided to follow Jesus, 3x, no turning back 2x... ", unfortunately I have not been hearing the song in our churches and programs again. What people teach these days is how to get rich quick, we no longer pray for unsaved souls. Evangelism is at the lowest because all of us wants the joy of the present at the detriment of the future glory that awaits us if we stand to the end.   Jesus Himself says wide is the path that lead to destruction but narrow is the way to eternal life, whoever finds the narrow path and walk in it will have everlasting life. To walk the narrow path is to forsake the enjoyment of today and follow Jesus, life may not be easy, people will despise you, family will hate you, you may not have many clothes and sometimes feeding maybe di...

Title: Love covers all Sins!

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1pe.4.8.KJV Devotion: Charity(Love) is the ultimate in human relationship it is the glue that glues all together, without love life will be catastrophic. A society without love has no fear of God because God Himself is love and will not be different from animal kingdom where might rules.  Unfortunately there are people who do not love anybody other than themselves; we read about them daily, it is unsafe to travel on their roads, live with them or trade with them. They will cause the person bodily harm if not killed and cause spiritual harm.    Peter and Paul were aware of such people hence they preached charity to you and me today. In the verse of today Peter emphasized the importance of Love among christians and by extension the society.  The good news becomes easy to deliver when you radiate love to the people. A quare...

Title: Make Worshiping God a Habit.

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. Psalm 9:1 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.9.1.KJV Devotion: David suffered adversity either divinely or as a result of his sinful act. He was hunted by Saul, his own son threatened his life and he was betrayed severally by trusted allies, yet he praised God probably more than any one in the Bible. Praise was his habit and he frequently have testimony of God's goodness to him and the nation. (Read the whole of psalm 9, 34)   This day you maybe going through situations and it seems there will be no exit for you, stop thinking about it and begin to praise and worship God in songs and prayers. Make worshiping God your habit and like David you'll give testimonies in Jesus name amen. Hallelujah. Dr Joel Olanrewaju wrote this, reach me on gbemide09@gmail.com for questions, suggestions, counseling and prayer requests. Check ojaysjoel.blogspot.com for daily devotionals.

Title: You are Wise!

The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Proverbs 16:23 KJV Devotion: What’s in our hearts represents who we are as we speak words out of our mouths (Matthew 15:17). When a person treasures spiritual and heavenly things, you will often hear this person speak about heavenly encounters, the Word of God, and so on.  When you listen to a broken person who is full of hurt and bitterness, you will often hear them speak negatively about others, about their life, and so on.   Beloved, as the opening scripture says, the wise teach what their mouth should speak! When you equip yourself with God’s Word, fill Your mind with it, and discipline your tongue and words for the advancement of God's Kingdom, you become a powerful vessel of God. Just as we are already doing with regard to devoting our lips for the glory of God, obeying and putting into action the devotions each day make you wise, with the lips of the learned!    Beloved, continue diggin...

Title: Taste and See!

O taste and see that the LORD is good: Blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalm 34:8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.34.8.KJV Devotion: David was a man of destiny, he was left in the bush to care for his father's sheep, but God said fetch him quickly. He was anointed king but did not ascend the throne until after 17 years. He was haunted about, betrayed, lived in caves and waged wars; in all these he trusted God and overcame. He committed grievous sin - adultery (2Samuel 11vs 1-5;) murder, yet he confessed to God and received forgiveness. 2 Samuel 12)  We see in David a great man who knows how to please God in praise and worship. He knows when to stoop to conquer and seek forgiveness. But you, how do you react in hardship do you complain, grumble or stop praising God? You have not tasted a quarter of what David tasted so why complain.  Dearly beloved, submit to God today, follow God's instructions and praise him. The outcome will surprise you because joy will fill your...

Title: Radical love.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/php.2.5.KJV Devotion: Genesis 1 vs 1 forward and John 1 vs 1 forward tells us that Jesus was God but became son of man to live amongst men and feel what we feel, eat what we eat etc in other to reconcile the sinful adamic man unto Himself. Now that is radical love, Jesus loved us even though we do not love him except those who accepted Him as Lord and Saviour. It is not us who first love Him but he loved us first.(1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.)   Now that you and me have been reconciled to Jesus should we not have same mind as Him? This is what Paul teaches you and me today that we should have the mind of Jesus Christ and do like He did.   This is radical love to love those who despise you, those who misuse you and pray for them because that is what Christ would do. In other words emulate Christ. This is our calling, which makes it is easy to c...

Title: Prove that Devil is a liar.

according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2pe.1.3.KJV Devotion: God called you and me and gave us knowledge of Himself through the His word that we read in the Bible and through His Spirit in us. It is from this that we have divine power to live life in full measure of joy and happiness and at the same time we remain godly and obedient.   Therefore when devil comes with lie that we cannot live a truly godly life we tell him we can because he who called us knows our weakness yet He made us perfect by His Holy Spirit. If devil says we cannot love we tell that God loves us, so we love others (John 15 vs 9-14); when hardship comes and people counsel you to forsake God, you let them realize that nothing can separate you from the love of God (Romans 8 vs 37-39.)  When people think you cannot tolerate the sufferin...

Title: Carrying out the Great Mission

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.16.15.KJV Devotion: The very last words of Jesus to the disciples is Go ye ... this shows the importance attached to the assignment Jesus gave you and me to preach the good news to all. If you have been truly saved rise up to save others, how to do it is simple. Just tell others what God has done for you since you have Christ as Lord and Saviour and invite others to Jesus Christ. Where to find the unsaved is everywhere, you don't need to travel far and wide again. Even if you don't know how to talk so much out you're shy, all you need to do is go to social media. Write your message or record the message on you tube, podcast, Instagram etc. You will reach a wider audience. But if you can, going to the neighborhood is much better, the people can see the difference Jesus has made and makes in your life when you ask them to accept Him into their...

Title: New Every Morning.

It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lam.3.22-23.KJV Devotion: In lamentations or grieving one can still find space to praise God, especially when we remember that things could have been much worst if not because of God's mercy.   Most times we go to bed without praying and yet we wake up again and rush to our place of work. In the evening we also return home safely in all these no prayers was said, it was not because of anything but God's compassion.  We see sinners prosper, saved in disasters and think how did he make it, he made it because God wants him to survive. God loves everyone including sinners but hates the sin; God is merciful enough to save all and that's why sinner is also saved in physical life and spiritual life when he or she confesses and gives his life to Christ.    The Israelites always went...

Title: Cage the Devil and its Lie.

casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2co.10.5.KJV Devotion: In mental health studies there is a symptom called thought insertion aka Delusion. The enemy of God - the devil so much like to use it to deceive children of God and many struggle with it all their lives but we have a potent weapon against it in reading and understanding the word of God the Bible regularly.   After Jesus Christ fasted 40 days on the mountain the devil came to test him but Jesus demolished devil with the word of God because he already read and understand the word.  When the devil put in your mind that you can't succeed tell him that you will succeed with the word of God in Philippians 4:13  "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." When devil tells you if God care why would He let this happ...

Title: The Ultimate Teacher!

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.32.8.KJV Devotion: We all need to learn one thing or the other at every stage of our lives and the outcome of our lives depend on what we learned and from who. We need to learn things physical and spiritual because the physical is controlled by the spiritual.  The requirement for good outcome is based on trust, submission, eagerness to learn and ability to comprehend without fear. I'm writing on the spiritual aspect now. God promises you and me and says "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."    To benefit from God's promise above we must trust God and submit our lives to Him by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is only then we can hear when God teaches us, it is only then we can speak to God in prayers and understand the instructions of God. All the...
