Title : Ministering Angels

"They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psalm 91:12"
Devotion : Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve the heirs of salvation, Hebrews 1:14. Our Lord Jesus Christ enjoyed the ministration of angels whilst on earth, especially during and after His forty-day fasting in the wilderness.
Elijah was ministered to in the wilderness. He was fed by Ravens.(1 king 17:2-16)
 Even though we do not always see angels with our optical eyes they minister to us when we go to bed, in our dreams, during the day, etc. There are stories by people who received divine healing when angels touch them in their dreams.
Let us be conscious of this fact and pray, commanding them to do their work, and they shall obey.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
