Devotion: From evolution we learnt that man evolved when he started using his hands to provide for and defend himself. This means man trusts in his power, does not see the need to depend on God for anything. The writer of Chronicles understood that it was a wrong believe to think we can do anything without God. He believed our lives depend on God the giver of life, the sustainer of life.
 We are therefore urged to seek the Lord regularly and when we do that God becomes object of our worship, we begin to meditate on His word regularly and commune with him. When we do this we rely on God's strength to sustain us further bringing us closer to God. 
 As we continue, His praise and worship become our habit; we are no longer ashamed to seek his face any time we have a need while God rejoices that we belong to Him. In other words we become children of God and co-hiers with Jesus Christ. 
 I therefore urge you dear reader to seek God and His strength always and make Him your pillar of support and you will not regret it. Hallelujah.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
