Title: Do Not Waste Your Life!

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. Mark 8:35 KJV

Devotion: We used to sing "I have decided to follow Jesus, 3x, no turning back 2x... ", unfortunately I have not been hearing the song in our churches and programs again. What people teach these days is how to get rich quick, we no longer pray for unsaved souls. Evangelism is at the lowest because all of us wants the joy of the present at the detriment of the future glory that awaits us if we stand to the end.
Jesus Himself says wide is the path that lead to destruction but narrow is the way to eternal life, whoever finds the narrow path and walk in it will have everlasting life. To walk the narrow path is to forsake the enjoyment of today and follow Jesus, life may not be easy, people will despise you, family will hate you, you may not have many clothes and sometimes feeding maybe difficult but at the end you'll have joy both here and in eternity.
We have to remember that we brought nothing here and that all we have were given us by God; importantly when we shall leave we certainly will not take anything from here. So why not work for our eternity because we will spend more years there.
It is better to lose all for Christ and the Gospel and have eternal life of joy than enjoy this world of sin and perish. We will not perish in Jesus name. Let's begin to work for our eternity now because we don't know the time when God will say time up. May we live long in Jesus name, amen.
Please don't forget to share your testimonies with us here.
