Title: Agape Love

1 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV) - "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up."

Devotion:

In my college days, our favorite passage was 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, often used to express romantic love. However, today's devotion focuses on agape love, the unconditional love Christ showed by sacrificing Himself for our redemption (John 15:13). Jesus embodies love, and His love never fails.

Agape love is patient, kind, and selfless, loving without expectation of return. It's not self-centered, envious, or proud. Unfortunately, the lack of agape love in the world leads to conflict, greed, and wickedness. The solution lies in Jesus' redemption, available through faith in Him and the Holy Spirit's work within us.

As we look to Jesus, trust in Him, and follow His lead, we can love others unconditionally. If you're ready to experience this transformative love, start by surrendering your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit will guide you from there.
