Title: Follow the Jesus Example.
Luke 6:38 KJV
[38] give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Devotion: What's your most prized possession? The value we assign to our belongings is tied to our emotions. How we use our cherished possessions reveals our true priorities.
Jesus' death on the cross is the ultimate example of generosity. God gave His greatest treasure, His only Son, for us. This selfless act demonstrates generosity: giving something precious for the sake of others, motivated by love.
Generosity goes beyond financial giving. It's about acknowledging God's ability to work through the gifts He's given you. You can give time, serve, or host others. The possibilities are endless, and the results are consistent: honoring God with your giving draws you closer to Him and brings Him glory.
Generosity flows from a thankful and trusting heart. Trust God with what you have, and He will entrust you with more. Giving reminds you that you're not in control, but you know the One who is, and He can provide for all your needs.
So, what do you have to give? Invest it somewhere. Start small or go big. Just start, you may want to assist the elderly on your street by visiting her, helping to clean the house, but groceries etc. Jesus is greatest giver. Let us emulate Him. Have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Hallelujah.
