Title: Empowered by God's Spirit

‭2 Timothy 1:7 KJV‬
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 
Devotiona: When we put our faith in Christ, God not only saves us but also equips us with the power to live according to His plan. The Holy Spirit within us enables us to overcome old habits and thought patterns, replacing them with confidence, love, and self-discipline.

In 2 Timothy 1:7, Paul reminds us that God's Spirit doesn't instill fear or cowardice; instead, it empowers us with boldness, love, and self-control. We can rely on God's strength to face challenges, love others, and grow in our faith.

As we journey with God, we'll experience a transformation that takes time, effort, and dedication. But God promises to guide and empower us every step of the way. Take a moment to pray, asking God to fill you with His Spirit, leading you towards a life of power, love, and self-discipline. Trust that God's presence will give you the courage and confidence to live according to His will.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
