  2. Dependence on God: Humility involves recognizing our fallen nature and our dependence on God. It is about trusting in God’s wisdom and salvation rather than our own understanding.

Practical Application

  • Acknowledging Limitations: Being aware of and admitting our weaknesses and need for God’s help. Seek the face of God in every situation and do not depend on your wisdom.
  • Valuing Others: Placing others’ needs and well-being above our own not because of your limitations but because of your love and fear of God.
  •   Humility, as taught in the Bible, is not about thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less and recognizing our need for God’s grace and guidance.
