Title: Follow Jesus Example.

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had." Romans 15:5 NIV.
Devotion: The important points from this verse are the following:
1: God's Provision: The verse highlights God's role in providing endurance and encouragement. This emphasizes our dependence on Him for strength and motivation. God is the source of my strength.
2: Unity in Mindset: Paul prays for the believers to have the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. This unity in mindset is crucial for harmonious relationships within the body of Christ. We can use human body parts to illustrate the fact that though we have many parts eg hands, legs, head, eyes etc yet all belong to one body and work together harmoniously. The church of God must unite to lead the crusade.
3: Christ's Example: The verse holds up Christ Jesus as the ultimate example of humility, love, and selflessness. His attitude toward others is the standard we should strive for. Let us remember pride remember goes before downfall. 
What are the implications:
Interdependence: Recognizing our dependence on God and each other fosters a sense of community and interdependence.
Selflessness: Embracing Christ's attitude of mind means prioritizing others' needs, being willing to serve, and demonstrating humility. 
Harmony: Unity in mindset promotes harmony within the church, allowing believers to work together effectively and demonstrate Christ's love to the world.
We need to ask ourselves these questions so that we can totally obey his commands
1. How do I currently rely on God for endurance and encouragement?
2. In what ways can I adopt Christ's attitude of mind toward others?
3. How might embracing this mindset impact my relationships within the church and beyond?
Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for providing endurance and encouragement. Help us adopt the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. May we prioritize unity, humility, and selflessness, reflecting Your love to the world.
