Title: Give Glory to God.
Psalms 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Devotion: I stand in awe of God's goodness in my life, my family, and the lives of those around me. He rescued me in my darkest hour, when all hope seemed lost and human help was nowhere to be found. I'm confident that God has also worked wonders in your life. Let's come together to express our heartfelt gratitude and praise to our faithful God, and let this song be our joyful declaration of His goodness and love.
CAC GOSPEL HYMN BOOK, HYMN 93 - TO GOD BE THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HATH DONE
TO GOD BE THE GLORY 11.11.11.11. and Ref.
1. To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And open'd the Life Gate that all may go in.
Chorus:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through;
Jesus the Son;
And give Him the glory! Great things, He hath done!
2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood;
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Chorus:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through;
Jesus the Son;
And give Him the glory! Great things, He hath done!
3. Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through;
Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be,
Our wonder, our transport when;
Jesus we see.
Chorus:
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through;
Jesus the Son;
And give Him the glory! Great things, He hath done!
Amen.
