Title: You Need Holy Spirit in 2025.

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Devotion: As we step into the year 2025, let us begin by seeking the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Bible reminds us that our Heavenly Father is willing to give us the Holy Spirit when we ask Him. In Luke 11:13, Jesus says, "If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

The Holy Spirit is our Advocate, sent by the Father in Jesus' name, to teach us all things and remind us of everything Jesus has told us (John 14:26). When the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we receive power to be witnesses for Jesus, starting from our own communities and spreading to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).

To experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, we must be willing to surrender our lives to Him. As Ephesians 5:18 advises, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit."

As we seek the Holy Spirit, let us begin by confessing our sins and shortcomings, repenting of our selfish ways, and asking God to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let us invite Jesus to send the Holy Spirit into our lives, filling us with His presence and empowering us to live a life that honors Him.

We ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in His truth and wisdom, empower us for His purpose and mission, fill us with His love and compassion, and help us discern His voice and leading. We thank our Heavenly Father for the gift of the Holy Spirit, acknowledging His presence and power in our lives.

As we embark on this new year, let us commit to walking in the Spirit, fulfilling God's purpose for our lives, and experiencing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our journey. May we be filled with the Spirit, guided by His wisdom, and empowered for His mission. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
