Title: When last did you Visit Casualty?

Psalms 118:1  O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Devotion: Last week, a friend visited me at work, visibly shaken. As he entered my office, I asked him what was wrong. He shared that he had walked past the casualty room and witnessed patients suffering from various traumatic conditions, including strokes and heart attacks. While this was a routine sight for me, given my daily work, it had a profound impact on my friend.
 His response was striking: "I have a reason to praise God." I couldn't agree more. Often, it's only when we see the challenges others face that we appreciate the blessings in our own lives. Being alive and in good health is a gift that's easy to take for granted.
 This experience reminded me that there are countless reasons to praise God. With this in mind, I'd like to share a hymn that resonates with me - CAC Hymn 73, "Through All the Changing Scenes of Life."
LLOYD C.M
I will bless the Lord at all times. - Ps. 34:1

1. Through all the changing scenes of life,
In trouble and in joy,
The praises of my God shall still;
My heart and tongue employ.
2. Oh magnify the Lord with me,
With me exalt His name;
When in distress to Him I call'd;
He to my rescue came.
3. The hosts of God encamp around;
The dwellings of the just;
Deliverance He affords to all,
Who on His succour trust.
4. Oh make but trial of His love,
Experience will decide;
How blest they are, and only they,
Who in His truth confide.
5. Fear Him, ye saints; and you will then,
Have nothing else to fear;
Make you His service your delight,
Your wants shall be His care.
Amen.
  Sing the song aloud, sing it with members of your family and worship God because he's your deliverer who saved you from the jaws of death.
