Title: Jesus, the Great light.
Isaiah 9:2 KJV
[2] The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Devotion: In Isaiah 9:2, a prophecy speaks of a great light breaking through the darkness, offering hope to those living in shadow. This light is Jesus Christ, foretold as the Savior who would bring salvation not only to Israel, God's chosen nation, but to all people—including Gentiles, non-Jews from diverse nations. Though Jesus was rejected by many of His own people, He was embraced by countless Gentiles, fulfilling prophecies like Isaiah 49:6 and bringing light to the world.
Jesus is the great light that dispels darkness, transforming lives and offering hope to all, regardless of history, heritage, or circumstance. Through Him, we move from darkness into light.
Dear reader, have you seen the light? As I wrote above Jesus is the great light, I urge to embrace Jesus today. The light in your heart will not go out out again in Jesus' name. If you already have the light share it with your neighbours and contacts with this devotional.
