Title: Seven Means Completion (July).

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6 KJV

The number seven in Scripture often symbolizes completion, perfection, and divine fulfillment. As we step into the month of July (the seventh month), it is a reminder that God is the One who brings all things to completion in His perfect timing.
Here are some examples from the bible:
- Creation Completed: “By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work.” (Genesis 2:2).
The seventh day marked the completion of creation — a divine pause showing that God’s work is perfect and whole.
- Spiritual Fulfillment: “Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6).
Just as creation was completed, God promises to complete the good work He has started in us.
- Victory and Completion: The Israelites marched around Jericho for seven days, and on the seventh day, the walls fell (Joshua 6:15–16). Completion brought victory.
Devotional Thought:
July, the seventh month, is a prophetic reminder that seasons of striving give way to seasons of completion and rest. Whatever feels unfinished in your life — whether prayers, projects, or promises — trust that God is faithful to bring them to fulfillment. His timing is perfect, and His completion brings peace.
Prayer: “Lord, thank You for the reminder that You are the God of completion. As I walk through this seventh month, help me to rest in Your promises, knowing that You will finish what You have started in my life. Amen.”

Happy, fulfilled July, you shall have testimony in Jesus' name Amen. Share your thoughts here and please feel free to share this with your contacts. ©Dr. Joel Olanrewaju, gbemide09@gmail.com.
