On my birthday this is my prayer and testimony.

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name!"
Psalm 103:1

Devotional Praise

Heavenly Father,

With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I lift my voice in praise to You. Like the psalmist, I declare: "Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name." You are the King of Heaven, the Almighty God, worthy of all honour, glory, and praise.

Lord, You have been faithful to me all the days of my life. Despite my weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings, Your love has never failed. Your Word assures me that You will never leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5), and I have experienced this truth time and time again. Through every season, You have remained my refuge, strength, and ever-present help.

When I was weak and almost fell, Your mighty hand upheld me. Just as Your Word says, "For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand and say to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13). Your righteous right hand has sustained me when I could not stand on my own. Your grace has carried me through every challenge and Your mercy has covered every mistake.

Father, I see Your hand in all that I do. In the beauty of creation, in the gift of life, in daily provision, and in every answered prayer, I recognise Your goodness. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights" (James 1:17).

Each morning, I am reminded that Your mercies are new. "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23). Your mercy endures forever, and Your loving-kindness never ceases.

Therefore, Lord, my response is simple: Thank You. Thank You for Your unfailing love. Thank You for Your protection. Thank You for Your provision. Thank You for Your mercy, grace, and faithfulness. Thank You for being my Father, my Shepherd, my Redeemer, and my Friend.

Today, I renew my commitment to You. I pledge to live for Your glory and to follow Christ all the days of my life. May the Holy Spirit continually uphold me, guide my steps, transform my heart, and empower me to walk in obedience to Your Word. Let my life be a living testimony of Your goodness and grace.

May I never cease to praise You, and may my heart always remain filled with gratitude.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."
Psalm 107:1

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen.

Devotion:  In life, generosity is more than a noble virtue; it is a spiritual principle deeply rooted in the Word of God. The Bible teaches us that giving is not just an obligation but an invitation to experience divine abundance.   This verse speaks of a truth that transcends time—the certainty that when we give from a sincere heart, God ensures we receive abundantly in return.
