Title : Unmovable

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 Devotion : The apostle Paul is sure of the victory of the believer in Christ Jesus, therefore he said that if you are a Christian times may be difficult but be steadfast, unmovable, and abound always in the work of the Lord. God is faithful and will not allow your work go unrewarded. In other words, he said the keys to victory and rewards are steadfastness, persistence, and abounding in the work of Christ Jesus. Dear reader, do you want to live in victory and be rewarded for your work? The keys are listed above; use them. Title : We are blessed

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 1:3" Devotion : Indeed, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heaven. The physical things we need have been provided by Jehovah-Jireh. What we need to do to actualize them is to believe that we have all these blessings, then begin to declare them, and thank God for them. Dear reader, what you need to believe is that as a child of God you are not in need but one whose needs have been provided for. Title : Deliverer

"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Psalm 91:3" Devotion : Yahweh is our deliverer from all sorts of traps and enemy attacks. He protects us like the eagle offering protection to her eaglets. His truth is His Word: the Word of God is our shield and buckler. As we meditate on the Word of God, we become emboldened, healed, nourished, energized, protected, and mature for Christ. Do you need deliverance in your life? Meditation on the Word of God is the answer. Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Able to teach

"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 1 Timothy 3:2" Devotion : God wants His leaders to be able to teach His Word to the coming generation so His Word will still be relevant to the next generation. If this does not go on, there will come a generation that does not know the Word of God and that generation will be a tool in the hands of the enemy. Dear reader, do you know how to teach? If you do, God is going to use you to teach and spread His Word. Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Our Going Out

"For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12" Devotion : What a blessing proclaimed by God unto His people! He says we shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and hills will sing unto God when we pass by and likewise the trees will clap their hands. This means that creation is ready to take instructions from us. Remember, Jesus Christ spoke to trees, storms, diseases, etc. and they obeyed Him. We should therefore be happy that creation exists to make our life glorious. Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline PS: we must play our part in the matter and that is accept Christ as our Lord and saviour, if we had, then do not backslide into sinful life. we must be watchful and prayerful.

Title : My Peace I leave you

"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. Psam 4:8" Devotion : This declaration is made by a psalmist who has walked with the LORD and known God as his peace. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the prince of peace and He has given us his peace. Therefore, we live in peace forever. Dear reader, do you need peace in your life? Believe that Jesus Christ is your peace, trust in Him, and enjoy His peace. Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Sing unto the Lord

"I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1" Devotion : The psalmist had a special song to sing unto the LORD. Do you have a song to sing unto the LORD? The mercies of God endure forever. The compassion God has toward us is His mercy. The psalmist enjoyed the numerous mercies of God: there are mercies for healing, favor, refraining from sin, leadership, overcoming hunger, marriage, etc. These mercies are sure and cannot fail because our God is faithful. Do you need mercy in any area of your life? Make a song out of it and sing it unto God, and you will surely find favor in His sight. Title : Author and Finisher

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2" Devotion : The believer in Christ Jesus has a role model to look up to; in fact, not just a role model, but a God model. Jesus is a good example as He never said anything without being the first to do it. When he said he loved us, he proved it by dying on the cross for us and when he said he was the resurrection and the life, he proved it by his resurrection from the dead. He commences our faith and ends it: He was tested at all points and was yet without sin. He knows all our infirmities and is prepared to see us walk with Him all the way, through our faith. Dear reader, do you need someone to depend upon? Look no further - look to Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. Title : His Stripes brings healing

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24" Devotion : The only person who is dead to sin is the Christian who is truly born again. The unbeliever is predisposed to sin and cannot control it. In fact, he is a sinner. However, the Christian lives unto righteousness; that is, he has right standing with God and the ability to do righteousness. In other words, he has the ability to know what God wants and does what pleases God. Healing has been eternally paid for us and any time we feel weak, let us declare this very scripture to secure our healing. Eternal healing was committed to us on the cross, and that is why the apostle Peter used the past perfect tense: truly we were healed, amen. Title : A message to the wife

"And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 1 Corinthians 7:10" Devotion : The position of a wife is vital to God; it is a status whose influence can be positive or negative. The Word of God commands the wife not to depart from the husband because God sees the wife as an important vessel by which He may influence the husband. A wife who recognizes her role in society and the kingdom of God will definitely not depart from her husband. Dear reader, are you a wife? Understand how vital and important you are for society and the kingdom of God and play your role wisely. Title : Grace to do exploits

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9" Devotion : The apostle Paul prayed onto the Lord three times and His response was, "my grace is sufficient for you". Dear reader, if you are born again, you have received grace in your life. This grace is a special ability to accomplish what natural ability cannot achieve. Whatever your challenge, there is enough grace to overcome it. If you are going through a tough time, remember that the grace which you have received is sufficient to overcome it. God bless you. Title : Honoring our Leaders

"The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Numbers 6:26" Devotion : Moses was instructed by God to bless Aaron and his sons. As God's anointed leader he carried out this instruction. God is still in the business of following protocol. He anoints people into the office of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher. He uses these anointed vessels to bless His people; therefore, let us give reverence to God's anointed vessels so we may receive blessings. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace, amen. Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Thanksgiving in the Lord

"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Ephesians 5:20" Devotion : The apostle Paul had a good habit of giving thanks to God always. He did so for the saints and also for what God was using him for. He has given believers in Christ Jesus a good example of how to walk with the Lord. It is not helpful to complain, murmur, and cry; these will not bring the solutions you need. Rather, giving thanks to God in every circumstance enhances the flow of God's power to help you in times of need. Dear reader, how many times do you give thanks to God in a day? Title : Refuge and Fortress

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1" Devotion : A refuge is a shelter or protection from danger and a fortress is a fortified place; therefore, the Psalmist says God is our shelter and fortified place. Although most of us live in physical shelters and sometimes these shelters are fortified, having God as shelter and fortification is greater than all else. His Word is our secret place of comfort and we must trust the Word of God as the scriptures are still potent and relevant to our generation. Let us trust the Word and use it as the solution to our challenges. Dear reader, who is your refuge and fortress? Title : Weapons of our warfare

"(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 2 Corinthians 10:4" Devotion : The Christian has many weapons to fight the enemy, both within and without. The enemy uses our mind as a field to sow negative thoughts; these negative and unprofitable thoughts fight the good thoughts that the Lord puts in our minds. Some of these strongholds are those beliefs and philosophies we held onto before and after salvation which are not founded on the Word of God.  The Christian has many weapons: the Word of God, faith, speaking in tongues, meditation on scripture and confessing them, prayer, etc. These are mighty enough to destroy every arrow and scheme of the devil. Dear reader, have you ever tried these weapons? Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : The Seal of God

"Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19" Devotion : A seal on a document makes the document genuine and signifies the authority of the state. Jesus Christ knows those who are His: there can be no better seal than this. Do we believe that we are really His? A good way to confirm this is to depart from iniquity. In as much as Jesus cannot be associated with evil, so must we refrain from evil. Dear reader, does Jesus Christ know that you are His? Title : A God-fearing man

"Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. Psalm 128:1" Devotion : The man who fears God is a man who values God and His Word. He is a man who obeys and pleases God, even if it means losing his life. The end result for this man is that he is blessed by God holistically: his wife is fruitful, his children flourish, and he shall see the prosperity of God's city. Let us choose to fear God no matter the circumstances and be blessed. Dear reader, how do you fear God? Title : Teaching children

"And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 6:7" Devotion : The Almighty God instructed the leaders of Israel to teach His commandments, statutes, and judgments to their children. Every husband was to make sure their children were taught God's commandments, statutes, and judgments. Their conversation should be full of them when they sit, walk, lie down, and rise. God told them to pass on these laws from one generation to the next. He did not want them forgotten. Today God wants us to do the same to His Word; He wants us to meditate on it day and night and observe it in practice. He also wants us to pass it on from one generation to the next. Dear reader, can God count on you to pass on His word to the next generation? Share your thoughts here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible....

Title : Establish your heart

"Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 2 Thessalonians 2:16" Devotion : The apostle Paul prayed for the believers in Thessalonica that they might be comforted and established in every good word and work. God desires us to be comforted and established in every good word and work. The Holy Ghost is looking forward to blessing our good word and work. When men are cast down, let us say there is lifting up. God wants us to always speak good words so our life will be filled with goodness and comfort. Any time we speak bad words or carnal words, we give the demons work to do against us. Dear reader, do you want your life to be always filled with comfort? The key is to always speak good words. Title : No tears in your eyes

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4" Devotion : Glory to God: He has demonstrated His ability to wipe away all tears and put an end to death, sorrow, crying, and pain. There is a similar scripture in 2 Corinthians 5:17; which says that if you are in Christ, you are a new creation; old things are passed away - behold all things are become new. This shows that we can still enjoy a life of comfort on earth before we go to heaven to enjoy that perfect liberty. God bless you. Title : Rest in the Lord

"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Hebrews 4:9" Devotion : God has assured us that there remains a rest for the people of God. This is an encouragement to the people of God who are struggling and suffering for the sake of Christ and the kingdom. It is a promise and it will definitely be fulfilled in the fullness of time, so don't look back,  continue in the work of God according to the gift God had given you.  Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land. Joshua 1:13 There is a place of peace in Christ where those struggles and suffering will come to an end, for them to enjoy the rest of God. Dear reader, are you enjoying the rest of God?  Do not think it's only in heaven you will have rest here on earth and continue to enjoy rest when the Lord shall come.  Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.k...

Title : Lively Hope

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3" Devotion : The resurrection of Jesus Christ has brought us to a lively hope. This hope cannot be compared with any other hope since there is only one resurrection. All the so-called prophets from other religions are dead and remain in the grave but Jesus was resurrected and ascended to heaven. That means our lively hope has eternal foundation and has no end. Title : Spiritual mind

"For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6" Devotion : God is a Spirit, John 4:24, therefore being spiritually-minded simply means thinking, speaking, acting, and being like God. As children of God, we are advised not to follow the world. If the world says things are difficult, we should say "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Talking in a worldly way will draw us back into death but walking in the Word will promote life and peace. Dear reader, are you spiritually-minded or carnally-minded? Share your comments here! http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline

Title : Come boldly to God

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16" Devotion : When Christ died, the curtain that separated the holy of holies from the holy place was torn in two, indicating that there is free access to the presence of God.  (We don't need intermediary before we can come to God, even if you're a sinner once you confess and repent of your sin you're as free as air to go to God, don't let any intermediary deceive you. You don't need to turn the place of worship to house before God will answer. Pray to God and believe that God will answer and you will receive answer to your prayers. Mark 9:23) Therefore, the scripture above wants us to come boldly to God, knowing that the obstacle has been removed. God is a father who now wants fellowship with us. Grace is an ability we need every day to excel, and any time we need it let us approach our merciful father boldly. Dear reader, h...

Title : First things first

"I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8" Devotion : It is our decision and an honor to put the LORD first in our life; when we put Him first, we set ourselves up for continual victory. We know we are saved by grace through faith and as a result we get to do things. We get to love God, we get to love ourselves, and we get to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. He will not allow us to be moved, let alone be defeated. Have you put Him first?  http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kjvstudybible.bible.kjv.bibleverses.bibleoffline Tell us how you put him first:    By total obedience     Reading my bible daily    Evangelising     Fellowship with others.

Title : Fruit

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22" Devotion : When a tree bears fruit, other living things such as animals, birds, and human beings are the ones that enjoy it most. Likewise, as Christians, the fruit we bear is to be enjoyed by others so they may give glory to God. We live in the presence of God as Christians and, as such, should allow the Holy Spirit to live His life in us. Dear reader, if you allow the Word of God to work in you, you will never provoke people, let alone envy them. Title : True Commitment

"And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Ruth 1:16" Devotion : What a declaration from a faithful daughter-in-law! Ruth had enjoyed such love from her mother-in-law that it was her turn to lavish the same love and more on her mother-in-law. It is good to recognize the mark of kindness that we enjoy from people so that when the occasion presents itself, we can demonstrate even greater kindness to them. Dear reader, have you ever enjoyed extreme kindness from somebody? Share it with us!  Yes I'm enjoying it now, somebody blessed me today with enough to take me for the month. Title : Perfect Sleep

"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8" Devotion : The best rest anyone can get is to sleep in an atmosphere of peace. This is the kind of rest the LORD gives to His beloved. In this end-time, there are all sorts of vices, chaos, wars, and economic hardships, and achieving perfect rest is an illusion. But they who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits. God is still in the business of giving His children security and perfect rest. Title : Promise from God

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10" Devotion : What a mighty God we serve! It is appropriate to enumerate these promises and to be thankful to God for them. Firstly, He said we should not fear, for He is with us. Secondly, we should not be confused or suffer dilemmas, for He is our God. Thirdly, He will strengthen us. Fourthly, He will help us. Fifthly, He will uphold or promote us. In simple words, we are unbeatable and unstoppable and cannot be pulled down. Praise the Lord! Title : Word Immersion

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16" Devotion : The main responsibility of a child of God is to immerse himself or herself in the Word of God. As you do that, God qualifies you to teach His Word and admonish others. The same Word in you is converted to spiritual songs, psalms, and hymns to bless the Lord and His people. Dear reader, what steps are you taking to make the Word dwell in you? Between Mushin and Ngige’s Victoria Island

MONDAY LINES By Lasisi Olagunju On Jul 27, 2020 Now, if the seller does not sell, what shall the buyer buy? Fear of death and disease has emptied the entertainment shelf of life everywhere. It is worse in Nigeria. There is nothing new on DSTV again to kill boredom and entertain us. No movie. No sports. What is shown as football is just a mimic of the real thing. Football without spectators, is that football? If it is not panadol, it cannot be the same thing as panadol. COVID has also locked up our Nollywood actors. All our five-star TV series are winding down. Some are repeating old episodes. We can’t go to parties. Everywhere is dry; even laughter has dried up in the mouths of comedy. There are no bubbling outings again; what we have are laughters that have gone rancid. COVID has made everything to be difficult. Veteran actor, Baba Wande, spoke this frustration in a recent newspaper interview: “You can’t travel to movie locations…because you have to maintain social distancing… Everyth...

Title : Ever present help

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22" Devotion : There is no need to carry our burden anymore; it is made evident here that the righteous have been cushioned against stress and anxiety. If you are reading this message and you are not born again, it is time to receive Jesus now. Matthew 11:28-30  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Jesus says to you.. "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
