Title : True Commitment

"And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Ruth 1:16"
Devotion : What a declaration from a faithful daughter-in-law! Ruth had enjoyed such love from her mother-in-law that it was her turn to lavish the same love and more on her mother-in-law. It is good to recognize the mark of kindness that we enjoy from people so that when the occasion presents itself, we can demonstrate even greater kindness to them. Dear reader, have you ever enjoyed extreme kindness from somebody? Share it with us!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
