Title : Promise from God

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10"
Devotion : What a mighty God we serve! It is appropriate to enumerate these promises and to be thankful to God for them. Firstly, He said we should not fear, for He is with us. Secondly, we should not be confused or suffer dilemmas, for He is our God. Thirdly, He will strengthen us. Fourthly, He will help us. Fifthly, He will uphold or promote us. In simple words, we are unbeatable and unstoppable and cannot be pulled down. Praise the Lord! Share your thoughts with other learners.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete. When that time comes, the soul, unburdened by the weight of the mortal frame, ascends beyond the veil of this world—taking flight toward eternal rest.   You are not bound to the temporal; your essence is celestial.
