Devotion : When a tree bears fruit, other living things such as animals, birds, and human beings are the ones that enjoy it most. Likewise, as Christians, the fruit we bear is to be enjoyed by others so they may give glory to God. We live in the presence of God as Christians and, as such, should allow the Holy Spirit to live His life in us. Dear reader, if you allow the Word of God to work in you, you will never provoke people, let alone envy them. Share your comments here!

Title: When your time shall be over, you'll fly away.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete. When that time comes, the soul, unburdened by the weight of the mortal frame, ascends beyond the veil of this world—taking flight toward eternal rest.   You are not bound to the temporal; your essence is celestial.
