Title : Sing unto the Lord

"I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1"
Devotion : The psalmist had a special song to sing unto the LORD. Do you have a song to sing unto the LORD? The mercies of God endure forever. The compassion God has toward us is His mercy. The psalmist enjoyed the numerous mercies of God: there are mercies for healing, favor, refraining from sin, leadership, overcoming hunger, marriage, etc. These mercies are sure and cannot fail because our God is faithful. Do you need mercy in any area of your life? Make a song out of it and sing it unto God, and you will surely find favor in His sight. Share your thoughts here!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
