Title : A message to the wife

"And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 1 Corinthians 7:10"
Devotion : The position of a wife is vital to God; it is a status whose influence can be positive or negative. The Word of God commands the wife not to depart from the husband because God sees the wife as an important vessel by which He may influence the husband. A wife who recognizes her role in society and the kingdom of God will definitely not depart from her husband. Dear reader, are you a wife? Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
