Title: Do not be anxious

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6 ESV
 Devotion: praise God, this year of promises do not be anxious.
  But be earnest in prayers - pray without ceasing.1 Thess 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
Be diligent in your duties-Pro 12:24
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. 
Give thanks all the time and testimony- 1 Chro 16:8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
  Throw your bread into the waters -Eccle 11:1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. This means giving where you don't expect a return.
 When Anxious this year just remember to follow the steps above.

Title: When your time shall be over, you'll fly away.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
