Title: You Are Not Forsaken!

“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.” Isaiah 54:10 (KJV)
  The Almighty God has very good plans for His children, and He wants His children to be aware of them. Mountains and hills are the creation of God; they cannot be easily moved (2 Peter 3:10). It will take a great deal of effort even if you want to remove them to obtain a level plain. On the contrary, the kindness of God and His covenant of peace toward us abide forever. He has promised to show us kindness and keep His covenant of peace with us because we are His children.
   Beloved, any time you find yourself in any kind of difficulty, remind yourself of this promise of God for your life and begin to thank and praise God for His Word. As you praise Him for His sure Word, your difficulty or burden becomes lighter and soon disappears, because God comes in to show His kindness to you. Never complain in life; turn your complaints to praise and see God work miracles for you (Acts 16:25–26). Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
  Prayer Point: Abba Father, thank You for Your reassuring words. Indeed, Your kindness and covenant remain in my life forever. I’m forever grateful and will always praise You for Your kindness and covenant in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
