Title : Christian (like Christ)
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Acts 11:26.
Devotion : The followers of Christ were first called Christian in Antioch because they lived Holy life, preached like Christ and wrought wonders like Christ.
In Matt 5:44 Jesus commanded His followers of which you and I are members to “......, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
There was a skit I watched on TV recently of a lady quarrelling with a commercial bicycle rider over a little matter. She swore at him, made a lot of noise. The next day after Sunday service the same lady went out to evangelise, unfortunately she met the same bicycle rider in an accident and ministered to him. Alas the rider said he preferred to die in sin than listen to the the lady because of what happened the previous day.
The question is how do you portray yourself - Christlike or something else? Think about it. Will you curse your enemies or rather pray for them. Do you assist someone who despite you?
If you are like the evangelist in the story above please change before it is too late, your life must attract to and not repel from Christ.
