Title: Giving!

Devotion: In Luke 6:38 the bible says "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again" Despite this counsel some people still believe that they need to pray before they are blessed. Of course prayer is good but the key is "GIVE" so use the key rather prayerfully than just praying.
It also depends on how you give eg if you give with motive to receive you have only saved in a "human bank" but if you give to someone who cannot repay you then you have given. That's why the bible says in Ecclesiastes 11:1 "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days" The meaning of this is give to where you cannot receive.
 Another criteria is give to hurt you not give a fraction from your abundance. Jesus says the old lady gave more than the rich men because she gave her all though very little amount.Luke 21:3
And he (Jesus) said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.
