Title : Honesty

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. Luke 16:10 ESV.
Devotion : Honesty is an attribute that is lacking in the world today. When you ask someone to purchase  something it is either a lesser quality is purchased or smaller quantity is purchased so that the the remaining amount of money is used for their personal needs. 
Lack of honesty is the root of disobedience to a loving God. If you are honest with God you will obey him when Jesus says "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind; And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" Matthew 22:37, 39.
  If you love someone you will be honest with the person. Gossips,  backbiting, lack of truthfulness, stealing etc all point to dishonesty ie disobedience to the laws of God. 
Are you  battling with dishonesty in your place of work, home, in the church of God? Tell God to assist you. Remember there's no little sin all carry equal weight.

Title: When your time shall be over, you'll fly away.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
