Title: Acceptable Thoughts

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14 KJV
Devotion: From the heart (meaning inner man) comes evil or good thoughts. Jesus says in "Matthew 15:19  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies" Whatever a person does he must first think it out in his mind before saying it or carrying it out.
 So what's in you heart this morning? What's on my mind? Will the thought of my mind be acceptable if voiced out? If not it means I'm not living right and God is not bound to accept it or make it come to pass.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
