Title: His Unfailing Love

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee. Psalm 143:8 KJV
Devotion: Dear reader, it is another beautiful morning and no matter what happened yesterday or at night God wants us to know that His unfailing love is for you. When we wake up in the morning we quickly want to hear the news around the world, sometimes devastating things happen while we slept, it maybe caused by some other people.
 At other times we were in the midst of it, the cause of it. "Sometimes instead of being the one fast asleep, we’re the ones spreading gossip, rumors and lies. We’re the ones in the wrong bed with the wrong person. We’re the ones causing the verbal, emotional, physical or mental abuse. We’re the ones who said such hateful, hurtful things. We’re the ones that broke someone’s heart and spirit. We’re the ones who should’ve been there, could’ve been there, but were very much absent. We’re the ones who sent the mean email, the painful text, left the horrible voicemail. We’re the ones who were fighting, cursing, back-biting and belittling".(1)
  Yet God in His mercy (Lamentations 3:22-23) and unfailing love is still there for you and me. All God demands from us is TRUST and God will direct our footsteps (Psalm 143: 8b&c). 
  Dearly beloved, let us therefore lift up our souls unto God. Testimony awaits you, please share it with us. Hallelujah.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
