Title: Emmanuel knocks!

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 KJV
Devotion: Good morning, Emmanuel is at the door of your house he is waiting for you, He would like to visit you. Yesterday we said God with us, He is there now.
 I know that some people have allowed God into their lives. But there are still other people who have not permitted Emmanuel to come in because they have not given their life to Him. This morning Emmanuel knocks your door and we like to come in and sup with you, He is anxious anxiously waiting for you. I call upon you to permit him to visit you and live with you His mission on earth is to live with you. Therefore I say give your life to Christ today, obey him and live for him and your life will not be the same again.
This year 2023 will be your year of greatest achievement if you live for Christ. I believe you know that you can be successful financially and otherwise but the most important success is spiritual success because whatever we accumulate on this earth we will leave behind. Our eternal home is in heaven where we will spend our eternity. Therefore it is better to prepare for eternity than to prepare for earth where we will live maximum of maybe 100 to 120 years and live everything behind for others who do not know how we accumulate the wealth only to misuse it. Let us therefore prepare for eternity and lay our treasures in heaven where moth does not destroy. 
 Dearly beloved if you have not given your life to Christ please do so early in the year so that you will enjoy Christ throughout the year and even beyond. Testimonies awaits you in Jesus name. Shalom.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
