Title: Do you Approach God Confidently or Through some Medium

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

1 John 5:14 KJV

Devotion: Praise God, what a wonderful God we serve, a loving father He is. He is always ready to listen to us, His children and hears us. Whenever you ask anything from your earthly father because he loves you he listens and does it for you.

  Such is God a loving father who listens and answers prayers especially when we ask according to His plan for us. Some of us are parents already will know that when our children ask us for anything we listen to them, we hear them and answer them. Especially when such children are obedient and when we ask them to do something they do it enjoy  joyfully.

 No matter how if our children are obedient we will listen to them and do what they request because their request is in line with our plan for them to become doctors, lawyers, engineers, marketers e t c. But a disobedient child will not be able to confidently approach the father, he will look for ways and manners to approach the father. An example of disobedient children are idol worshipers, they worship graven images and use these as media to approach god, while some people must go through priests, Alfas, and some other "men of God". But we have Grace to approach God without going through any medium, we just kneel down in our room or in any private corner and speak to God and He hears us because we are His obedient children, we have given our life to God through Christ his son (John 3:16)

 Dear reader are you obedient, have you given your life to Christ, do you ask according to His plan for your life or you ask amiss (James 4:3) If you have not been doing so please start doing so today.
