Devotion: Good day to you, the Bible verse of today simple says demonstrate your spirituality by walking in spirit. The reason is not far fetched, there are many "born again Christian" out there whose lives do not portray their Christianity. 
The confessed Christ but their mind is elsewhere because they are either too shallow or they are fake. They are shallow because they do not read the words of God and so live in disobedience. 
Some are fake because they do not want to forgo the pecuniary gains of the world. Their stomach rules them, they live in the lust of the flesh and eyes which they must satisfy by doing things which do not glorify God. In the heart of such people Holy Spirit has no place. In 2 Timothy 4:10a Paul wrote "For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica;" This shows that Demas loved the world and its lustfulness. 
Dear reader, do you read your Bible daily(Psalm 119 :15-16), does the Holy Spirit have place in your heart? It is our guidance and protector we must have a place for it in our hearts to be able to finish the race Gloriously. Please seek the Holy Spirit actively and let it guide you then you will become a complete Christian. May God guide and guard your heart and bless you in Jesus name. Hallelujah!
