Title: Awesome God

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? Psalm 8:3‭-‬4 KJV
Devotion: In this Song (psalm) of David, he expressed the awesomeness of God, His mightiness and creation. He told us that universe is limitless and that it was created by God. Yet God is mindful of man and takes special interest in man to the extent that omnipresent God knows our in and out. 
  Even though we are so small compared to other creations of God, God is ever ready to respond to our questions, petitions and guides us accordingly always. What a caring and loving God. We as children of God must Revere him and do all to please a loving and caring God.
 We must recognize that God places us above other creations and behave accordingly. We must do away from animalistic behaviour and stop killing others, kidnapping, rapping, stealing and the like (Galatians 5:19-21) We must instead seek the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and also emulate David in praise and worship always.
 Dearly beloved, have you praised God today, just look at the sky and see the stars, the milky way and enjoy the cool breeze and marvel at the creation of God and sing a worship song. Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded. The moments of struggle, joy, triumph, and trials will all coalesce into a story complete.
