Title : Idle hands
"She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:27"
Devotion : A virtuous wife is the mistress of her home and is fully in charge of her household. She does not compromise on quality and believes that the idle hand must not eat, 2 Thessalonians 3:10.
In fact she practices leadership by example, therefore, she does not entertain idleness in her home. She demonstrates industriousness in her household for her children to emulate.
A man also must be hardworking and must provide FOOD, WEAR, SHELTER & COMFORT for members of his household. The bible says a man unable to provide for members of his household is worst than an infidel. In 1 Timothy 5:8 the bible says "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel".
The age where only the husband works is past now both of them must work but the woman is an helper and can only support the husband while man does the necessary.
The Lord bless you as you go out to work today. Dearly beloved, share your thoughts on this with us.
