Title: Bread of Life for You.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:35 KJV
Devotion: Jesus once again told the disciples and by extension tells you and I who He is. Remember in the old testament one of God's name is I AM, therefore it is not out of place for Jesus to refer to Himself as I Am. The reason is that Jesus is God turned to man so that He can redeem us unto Himself.
 I am the bread of life here is not about physical food alone but about spiritual food offered free to you and me. It is our duty to actively seek this food and eat it daily. This is the word of God, we must actively study it daily and all other things to make us comfortable in life will be added to us.(Matthew 6:33)
 Therefore I call on you this morning to come nearer to Jesus and be satisfied with bread of life and quench your thirst. Testimony awaits you as you do. Have a blessed day in Jesus name. Hallelujah!

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
