Title: Are you Worried? Trust Jesus.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:1-3 KJV
Devotion: There are a thousand and one reasons to be troubled or anxious in the present world especially if you are in the middle or lower rung of life. Even the rich are not immuned because of the security challenge in our nations.
In my country an individual is a local government because he or she must provide access road, shelter, water and generate electricity for himself. In most cases he or she will borrow to do all these and in addition send the children to expensive private school (government schools are in shambles, the teachers go on strike and are poorly renumerated so their delivery is poor) Health care is beyond the ordinary person.
Looking at life from above prism we know there's a lot to worry about but there's a man, Jesus Christ, who says let not your heart be troubled..(John 14: 1-3). I believe Him and trust Him that He will surely do that which he promised, Jesus will give me rest here on earth and in Heaven. If I trust him and live according to the directions of the Holy Spirit that he sent when He ascended to heaven I surely will navigate this life without trouble. I will also make heaven to live with him.
Dearly beloved, have you made the decision, tomorrow maybe too late, (2Cor. 6:2), please surrender to Jesus today. You are blessed in Jesus name. Hallelujah.
