Title: Love One Another.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
John 15:13 NKJV
Devotion: It is a new dawn in Nigeria today because we have a new government who the silent majority trust and hope will improve their lots. 
 I am therefore calling on this government to be ready to lay down their lives for the good of the nation by 1) shunning corruption and fight it will all power available to government. 2) uniting the citizens bring experts from all corners of Nigeria. 3) fighting insecurity headlong. 4) training the youths and creat environment for them to get job. 5) improving the standard of health care and make it available through participatory insurance.     If the government can do these every Nigerian will love it and feel loved by government. The opposition will also cooperate and only criticize constructively.  
Our example is Jesus Christ and what he did actually is what I listed above - he was not corrupt, he paid his tax (Matt 17:27), his followers were from all walks of life including youths and elderly (Matt 9:9; 10:3) Jesus healed the sick (Matt 4:23) taught and encouraged people to work (Matt 5-7).
 Therefore dearly beloved let's read 1Cor 13:1-13 in addition to John 15:13. Jesus loves you first then reciprocate, love your neighbour as yourself he or she will love you back.

Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial.
