Title: Children of God!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
Isaiah 43:2 NKJV
Devotion: In the passage above I am reassured of my safety because He who promised shall fulfil it. In fact He has been fulfilling these promises all my life and that's why you are reading from me today. 
 Why is God faithful to His promises in my life? The reason is not farfetched, I am a child of God just like the biblical Israel, I become a co-heir (Romans 8:17a) with Jesus the day I gave my life to Christ and repent of my sins. I am now living under the grace of God and by this grace I will not depart from God.
 Dearly beloved, you can enjoy this protection as stated above in Isaiah 43:2, if you give your life to Christ or rededicate your life to Christ. You will have testimony to share with us in Jesus name.

Psalms 90:10  The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Devotional: Late music legend – Peter Tosh sang a song with this title many years ago. It came to mind yesterday while I listened to a beautifully delivered sermon at a burial. I therefore penned this devotional on same title. Do not be deceived, at a point in your life you’ll fly away.   There comes a day when the tapestry of your earthly existence is folded.
